That plug in does work only works on M1 Macs running Monterey, so you can not use MacOS Ventura or a machine with AMD cards. Think of the plug-in as separate to the Standalone version, it's essentially all the UI features you want to use to create things in Cinema4D using octane. It's not the app you want to use with Cinema4D, and the standalone can not connect to it in any way. ![]() It's also what you use to set up network rendering (if you want multiple machines to render the same thing). The app that is on the App Store is Octane Standalone, and it s basically there to allow you to render and see and check octane files or ORBX files, change settings of the file before you send it render and then get it exported. ![]() Hey!
